The BM series pneumatic mole is designed for short-distance horizontal pipe laying in various soil conditions, including layers with few pebbles or some boulders. Its front impact head operates independently of the mole body, delivering forward impact that easily breaks through pebbles and boulders. When encountering impassable obstacles, simply turn the hose to the right to retract the mole.

Operation Principle

The pneumatic mole is a low-frequency, low-pressure pneumatic impact device powered by compressed air. The compressed air drives the internal hammer to strike the anvil, propelling the mole body through the stratum. After penetration, the mole body is removed, and a steel wire rope is connected to the air pipe. The air pipe is then pulled back to bring the steel wire rope through the hole, which is used to pull the pipeline into place for trenchless pipeline installation.
